About the Artist:

Ruth Hanna attended both the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts and Moore College of Art, both in Philadelphia, PA. She specializes in oil paintings and pen and ink drawings. Ruth lives in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, with her son Alec and husband John.

When time allows, Ruth also does pen and ink pet portraits in a pointillism style similar to the black and white greeting cards we offer in our handcrafted greeting card section. 

Ruth wants to thank her son, Alec, for being the dedicated Editorial Assistant who helps out with the writing and odds and ends of running this website. Alec not only helps out a great deal but he also thought up the name for the website and the business --- WOOTA.
